Where I Began

I am a construction worker. I am sort of computer literate, by that I mean I can get a working PC to do pretty much what I want it to do. I like reading all kinds of articles on the internet. And in the reading I got the eCommerce bug.

I had the idea that to succeed on the internet doing business you needed to be some web expert or a network specialist of some kind or have some special advanced knowledge of some kind. Well, one article followed by another has slowly convinced me otherwise.

If you or I wanted to start a business out of our garage, could be anything, from selling magazines we have been saving since forever, or you may have a special skill with wood, it will be the same, you first select organize a product or service you wish to provide to your community, you future customers, next you introduce that product or service, then if you have something your community wants, has a demand for, you sell it to them.

The internet is basically the same only different. And that difference is a magic act, once you learn the secret it is not that difficult. At least, it is well with in an average construction workers possibility of learning. And I am convinced that if you have ever taught yourself anything like music or a bit of a foreign language or to fix an appliance or what ever, then you can learn this as well. You can go from a eCommerce Dreamer to an eCommerce Newbee and actually do a little business.
